Buzzcity will be organizing their usual developer garage. Their first one for 2010 will be taking place on 29th January. Developer Garage seeks to provide a channel for developers to share experience, trends and insights on developing and commercializing sites and applications on mobile Internet.
Speakers this time round include:
Steven Goh, CEO of mig33, will discuss the latest mobile trends around the world, focusing on the leading markets of North America, Japan and China. He will also look at the development strategies and monetization models needed for building a winner and profitable business. In separating the hype from the reality, he’ll discuss what does this all mean for software developers. Steven is a well-experienced entrepreneur, having developed and delivered successful Internet services for consumers, including founding Australia’s first online stock brokerage company Sanford Securities. Prior to co-founding mig33. Steven started developing in Fortan at the age of 7 and built his first computer at the age of 12. Steven is recognized as an authority on contemporary IT issues, with extensive private and public board experience, has served as a keynote speaker and panelist in conferences throughout U.S., Australia and Asia.
Je Alipio, Executive Producer for Games at BuzzCity, will also be sharing a short introduction about BuzzCity’s latest media portal Djuzz. Djuzz is a free downloads portal that provides end users with good quality games and applications supporting most of the popular handsets available.
Light refreshment and networking to follow.
