Online Solutions Manager – [eBay.com]

Primary Job Responsibilities:
The Online Solutions Manager at eBay will be responsible for the end to end delivery of online solutions that address the specific needs of the eBay SEA business unit. This includes maintaining and updating eBay SEA sites. The right candidate will be able to work seamlessly with their product, business and engineering counterparts as well as manage external vendor relationships and projects to deliver solutions that provide a richer shopping experience and grow online commerce for eBay SEA.

The main areas of focus for this role are to ensure the integrity of the eBay SEA sites and the management of external vendors and online solutions to help the SEA business achieve it’s objectives. This will include the following tasks:

• Initiate, Drive and oversee development of innovative product solutions that help eBay achieve it’s business goals.
• Define product and platform requirements and working with internal teams and external vendors to bring those features to life
• Maintain and update eBay SEA web content
• Managing web development tools and processes
• Train/Support Local teams (marketing, site management, etc.) on Web Dev tools (DR system, Promo Tool, adding graphics to Clearcase)

Job Requirements

Experience:
4+ years of software or Internet product/project management experience focused on customer-facing web sites. Prior experience in API based development is not required but advantageous.

Education:
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent

Head Skills

• Strong HTML (DHTML, CSS, XML, XSL) / JavaScript skills and experiences
• Strong knowledge of web architecture (hardware/software) and internet industry
• Knowledge of all state-of-the-art software tools (photoshop, freehand/illustrator, fireworks, and html-editors)
• Knowledge of version control software
